Reichweiten-Erweiterung. VW hat den Passat GTE optimiert und die Batterie-Kapazität um 31 Prozent auf jetzt 13 kW/h gesteigert. Dadurch konnte auch die Reichweite im rein elektrischen Fahrmodus laut VW auf bis zu 56 Kilometer (nach WLTP) vergrößert werden. Die Systemleistung beträgt 218 PS (160 kW), das maximale Drehmoment 400 Nm. Spitze: 222 km/h. Verbrauch (l/100 km) komb.: 1,7 – 1,6 l; CO2: 39 – 37 g/km. Verbrauch (kWh/100 km) komb.: 15,7 – 15,1 kWh. Der neue Passat ist ab 44.795 Euro (Variant: ab 45.810 Euro) erhältlich.
