Peugeot spendiert dem kompakten 208 drei neue Euro-6-Motoren. Optimiert wurde der 1,2-Liter-Dreizylinder-Benziner mit 82 PS. Dagegen ersetzt der Turbo (110 PS) den bisherigen 1,6-Liter-Motor (120 PS). Der Verbrauch sinkt um einen Liter (ca. 18 Prozent) auf 4,6 Liter (kombiniert), die CO2-Emissionen von 129 auf 105 g/km. Bei den Selbstzündern kommt anstelle des alten ein neuer 1,6-Liter-Diesel mit 120 PS zum Einsatz. Alle drei neuen Varianten sind ab sofort bestellbar. Preis: ab 14.950 Euro.
