Alles Hybrid oder was? Kaum ein Hersteller, kaum eine Baureihe kann noch ohne. Aufgrund der verschärften CO2-Steuer wird kräftig umgerüstet. Jetzt bietet Skoda erstmals auch ein Modell seiner RS-Familie mit Plug-in-Hybridantrieb an. Beim neuen Octavia RS iV erzeugen ein 1,4-Liter-Benziner und ein E-Motor eine Systemleistung von 245 PS (180 kW) und ein Drehmoment von 400 Nm. Damit spurtet das agile Top-Modell in 7,3 Sekunden auf Tempo 100 und schafft 225 km/h Spitze. Die rein elektrische Reichweite beträgt bis zu 60 Kilometer (WLTP). Verbrauchsdaten und Preise hat Skoda noch nicht kommuniziert.
