Rennsemmel. Renault hat den Mégane gepimpt. Ende des Jahres bringen die Franzosen die Variante R.S. Trophy mit noch mehr Power unter der Haube auf den Markt. Für den Vortrieb sorgt ein optimierter 1,8-Liter-Turbomotor mit 300 PS (220 kW) und bis zu 420 Nm Drehmoment – ein Plus von 20 PS ( kW) und bis zu 30 Nm. Der Vierzylinder beschleunigt den Kompaktsportler in der Version mit 6-Gang-Schaltbox in 5,7 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km/h und ermöglicht 260 km/h Topspeed. Cup-Fahrwerk mit mechanischer Torsen-Differentialsperre, 19-Zoll-Räder und Verbundguss-Bremsscheiben sind Serie. Verbrauch (l/100 km) komb.: 8,1 l; CO2-Wert: 183 g/km. Preis: ab 38.590 Euro.
