Auf der North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) vom 8. bis 22. Januar 2017 in Detroit feiert der neue Lexus LS seine Weltpremiere. Mit der mittlerweile fünften Modellgeneration schließt sich der Kreis: In Motown debütierte 1989 mit dem Lexus LS 400 das erste Modell der japanischen Premium-Marke überhaupt. 28 Jahre später verbindet der neue Lexus LS mutiges Design mit großzügigen Platzverhältnissen und visionärer Technik. Die Limousine steht auf einer neuen globalen Plattform auf der schon das Luxus-Coupé Lexus LC aufbaut wurde.
