Update. Am 24. April 2017 rollt der geliftete Yaris zu den Toyota-Händlern. Der kräftig überabeitete Kleinwagen hat laut Hersteller mehr als 900 neue Teile an Bord und fährt mit einem deutlich dynamischeren Design vor. Unverändert steht der Toyota-Knirps als Drei- und Fünftürer in vier Ausstattungsvarianten und mit drei Motoren zur Wahl. Den Einstieg bildet der Dreitürer mit einem 69 PS (51 kW) starken 1,0-Liter-Dreizylinder ab. Das Hybrid-Triebwerk mit einer Systemleistung von 100 PS (74 kW) wurde optimiert. Verbrauch (l/100 km) komb.: 5,0 – 3,3 l; CO2: 112 – 75 g/km. Preis: ab 12.540 Euro. Für zwei Türen mehr sind mindestens 13.240 Euro fällig.
