Der Hyundai Nexo erhielt auf der Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas, die Mitte Januar 2018 stattfand, die Technikauszeichnung „CES Editor’s Choice Award 2018“ des US-Technikportals reviewed.com. Das Brennstoffzellen-SUV gewann in der Kategorie „Automobile“. Die Jury lobt neben der alltagstauglichen Reichweite von bis zu 800 Kilometern und der emissionsfreien Antriebsform den Vorbildcharakter. Der Nexo ist nach dem ix35 Fuel Cell bereits Hyundais zweites Serienmodell mit Brennstoffzelle und soll ab Sommer 2018 erhältlich sein.
